[17:50] Hi I have just updates and mythweb has died on me is there any clues as to fault finding? [17:54] I have check /var/log/mythtv & apache2 [17:56] notlistening, define died, I would check the backend log and the apache2 logs [18:01] There is nothing in both, and died just means it redirects to a blank page no source for the page at all [18:02] someone has mentioned to me about php bindings [18:03] did mythweb update successfully? [18:08] there does not seem to have been a mythweb update [18:08] did you use autobuilds? [18:08] to update [18:09] yeah i did [18:09] what did you update from? [18:09] did you go from .23 to .24 or was it a -fixes update [18:09] normally mythweb gets updated [18:10] I have the mythbuntu repository added and just performed a normal system update [18:10] was a fixes update [18:11] tgm4883: any ideas? [18:20] I'd have to check it on my own system [18:20] I'm assuming that apache is started? [18:57] yes it is redirecting to /mythweb but giving nothing more [19:26] any ideas of something to try? [19:43] what remote should i get for least grief getting to working? [21:01] tgm4883, any further ideas? [21:09] right mythweb is still borked, no log messages the mythubuntu guys are everso quiet... any food for thought? [21:12] when browing tot the mythweb interface there is no backend interaction [21:13] you could check: ls -l /etc/apache2/sites-* [21:13] maybe the link is missing or something [21:15] Nothing in apache logs means you don't see the request? Then I'd check the network and client logs [21:16] the access log show the apache request [21:17] but it's status 200 or 304? [21:17] (ok or not changed) [21:21] 1 sec [21:21] "GET /mythweb/ HTTP/1.1" 500 274 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:6.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0.2" [21:22] nothing more [21:22] 500 = internal server error = no good [21:23] /var/log/apache2/error.log is empty? [21:25] since a restart nothing [21:26] hmm, I'm out of quick suggestions (besides looking at whatever ls -lrt /var/log hints at) gotta go, need to work tomorrow. [21:27] thanks though [21:30] here is my apache error.log http://pastebin.com/zC09vbDS
