[15:19] i.e. should i not do that on a production machine that i frequently update tex documents on? [17:37] tomswartz07: You should uninstall any texlive Ubuntu packages that you have installed. [17:37] tomswartz07: The upstream TeX Live is a superset of those packages. So any existing .tex documents you have should still compile with the newer TeX Live. [22:31] godbyk: Thanks!
