I'd like to get networking up and running to apt-get update and install stuff. However, there is no /etc/network/interfaces file for me to configure. Should I just create one or am I supposed to configure networking some other way? I've just installed 11.10 on a panda board, and have installed the ti-omap-addons package. The system is running quite slow (almost unbearably slow), and I am curious what I can do to alleviate any slowdowns. [21:20] having installed the ti-ppa omap add ons for the graphics, and multimedia, I get a hard crash when attempting to play a h.264 encoded movie [23:24] has anyone been able to install the openoffice.org-impress packages on ubuntu 11.10 on arm devices? [23:54] nhg: Installs here. [23:55] So $boss just pointed out that ARM has whizzo new 64-bit stuff [23:56] Aye, v8 was just announced. [23:59] infinity: can you please let me know the command used to install that package?
