sagaci<15% of en_AU to go09:00
head_victimSo you thinking 12.04?09:00
sagaciyeah, but we need to go over the strings we've done with grep09:03
sagacithat'll take a while09:03
head_victimYeah, but will be nice to be nearly 100% completed either way09:04
head_victimOnce we start that though it would probably be a good idea to set a minimum required standard for entry into the teams to ensure people know what they shold and shouldn't be doing. Maybe successfully suggesting 500 - 1000 strings?09:06
head_victimbejames: have you used any local libraries for events in the past or were you just brainstorming the other night?09:16
bejameshead_victim: just brainstorming. no practical experience with using the libraries09:17
head_victimbejames: no worries, I just haven't been to a library since high school so trying to get some hands on experience ;)09:17
bejameshead_victim:  I could check out chermside or Brisbane square see what it09:19
bejamesits like09:20
head_victimbejames: if it's not too far out of your way it would be handy to see which is better09:20
bejameshead_victim:  ok will do09:20
head_victimMight also be a case of what one has a spare room though09:21
bejamesIs the are tentative date we are working to?09:21
head_victimJan 7-8 would be best, before LCA but still in School Holidays09:22
bejamesok, I also see what availability is like on those days09:23
head_victimAppreciate it mate09:23
bejamesnp09:24
sagacihead_victim: ok so then how do deadset newbies get into the teams without any strings completed09:42
head_victimHow many strings are changed each cycle? Surely there'd be 10k or so?09:44
sagaciabout 40k last one09:44
sagacibut that was gnome309:44
sagaciwe're just under 11k behind en_GB09:46
head_victimHmm fair point. Just throwing a few ideas out 09:46
sagaciI guess you could do the whole 500 suggestions before you get into the team but for something like en_AU, it's not particularly needed since most of the strings aren't changed and besides it'd be better to just finish them all off and then grep through some amazing command to fix up the mistakes09:50
sagacialthough I do believe it's good for manual proof-read since there's also bugs in the original strings, which is handy to iron out09:51
