claydohRiddell: lol yeah, I found out his name later, I wonder if the rubbing brings good luck?14:40
Riddellclaydoh: we encourage use by the community, he should get a trademark licence really "use in a domain name" which is available at no cost, see http://www.ubuntu.com/aboutus/trademarkpolicy14:41
jussino, it forces you to work on cups :P14:41
claydohjussi: I was working on a cup of something at the time :)14:42

spartan779Hallo!19:16
spartan779I have 2 wi-fi devices (one usb hi-power and the integrated). The problem is this: starting with together the devices disconnected i click on hi-power and sect an essid to link with. After done this happens that the integrated wifi tries to link to the same essid. And this happens also if an essid or a series of essid are marked as connect automatically. So, is there a way to avoid that the network manager tries to connect to 19:22
spartan779not connected interface when one of these is connected?19:22
Quintasanspartan779: ask in #kubuntu, this isdevelopment channel19:41

BarkingFishspartan779: come back into #kubuntu and i will try and help you. You'll need to repost your question though, as I've not long joined.19:42

yofelQuintasan: 4.7.3: unless someone did something without me noticing: nothing uploaded for precise and oneiric isn't completely done yet21:00
QuintasanI see21:00
Quintasanthat's partly good news21:00
yofel?21:01
Quintasan\o/21:01
QuintasanI mean, we can upload once I get home :P21:01
yofelwell sure, I'll try to finish oneiric today, after that won't be much online till sunday - maybe I'll be there to publish the oneiric PPA package tomorrow evening21:04
yofel*packages21:04
JontheEchidnahere's the rough prototype of the new updater: http://i.imgur.com/4kd4F.png21:04
JontheEchidnathe pic's a bit old, so I'll post a new one when I get home21:04
yofelI guess I'm too advanced to hope a GUI dialog would tell me the information I want on first sight... (esp. both versions, like aptitude does)21:06
yofelotherwise not too bad21:06
yofelJontheEchidna: sorry, I missed the muon session, got the notes somewhere?21:06
JontheEchidnaI don't think we took very many: http://summit.ubuntu.com/uds-p/meeting/19619/desktop-p-kubuntu-muon/21:07
JontheEchidnalol21:07
JontheEchidnaI'll try to write the things down that I remember21:07
yofelheh21:08
ulysseso.O overflow, too much information21:08
JontheEchidnaThat's all I can remember. If anybody remembers more, please write it in the etherpad21:13
yofelJontheEchidna: do you plan to make the package manager easier to find? As that causes quite a bit of confusion21:13
Riddellhttp://pad.ubuntu.com/desktop-p-kubuntu-muon21:13
Riddellhmm, multiple notes21:14
Riddellmy fault really21:14
yofelRiddell: uhm... why isn't that linked from teh UDS schedule?21:14
Riddellyofel: it is, if you click on the session name21:14
yofeloh great, I always clicked on the notes icon of the schedule21:15
yofelwhich sends you to the other pad21:15
yofel*of the session21:15
Riddellyes I should have just used that but I didn't know it existed when I registered the sessions21:15
yofelnah, now I at least know where to look :)21:17
RiddellJontheEchidna: new updater UI looks good21:17
RiddellJontheEchidna: I wonder if a tree view is the best way for it though, I think something like the larger headers used in e.g. system settings would be nicer and then a list below them21:18
apacheloggermake the list in QtQuick21:19
apacheloggershould be easy enough21:19
apacheloggeroh, actually NVM me, that would introduce LTR difficulties21:19
RiddellJontheEchidna: one interesting feature I see in the ubuntu update manager is a notice that it's safer to plug in your laptop21:20
Riddelldoes oxygen-gtk theme work for others?  doesn't seem to here21:22
yofelRiddell: for gtk2 yes, the gtk3 one isn't packaged (if there even is a release)21:22
yofelI've got the gtk3 one to work with gtk3 apps, for gnome3 apps it works, but ignores my color scheme21:24
Riddellah, I guess that's it21:24
Riddellso we should have a work item to investigate that21:24
Riddellfreeflying: we'll take a decision on kimpanel or kimtoy based on wither we can get either to work then which works better if they do21:32
Riddellyour feedback on that would be great :)21:32
yofelbtw. - when did kdenetwork get split? (either it didn't or I missed something)21:35
RiddellJontheEchidna: what does File -> Read Markings do?21:35
Riddellyofel: you're right, it didn't21:36
yofelRiddell: I'll fix the blueprint21:37
Riddellta21:39
Riddellclaydoh: hmm, I think the syntax for unassigned work items is empty square brackets "[]"21:40
claydohkk21:40
yofelRiddell: not sure about the unassigned ones, but the assigned ones need to have the Launchpad ID as assignee21:46
claydohwhat are we doing for dinner??21:47

yofelafter that oneiric-updates22:12

yofeltomorrow.. maybe, I'm not publishing that without some regression testing. And the test results on the wiki page are empty so  far. Some packages are still building anyway I think22:14
bulldog98yofel: sure22:14
Quintasanclaydoh: I'm going to keysigning22:15

JontheEchidnaRiddell: If you make changes but exit muon before committing them, you have the option to save your markings in a text file, which you can load at a later time23:23

yofelBarkingFish: tip: if you need to find out what happened to a package, go to it's main page on launchpad (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/netbeans) and click on "View full publishing history" at the right - there you'll find out what happened to it, and possibly why23:46
