ktwomh ok, and if it does break my current wifi driver how can i revert to the stock driver?06:54
ktwothe thing is my current driver always disconnects after a while06:55
ktwousing the kernel driver for RTL8188CUS06:55
ochosiphunyguy_work: basically you have to switch themes or edit a theme by hand (i.e. change its colors by hand in the gtkrc-file). obviously this can cause problems with some widgets not being displayed properly or readability. and: you'd have to do the same for the gtk3 theme07:43
Bixentewe are seeing a migration of Ubuntu users to Xubuntu08:13
ktwoit is understandable after ubuntu has become a netbook distribution08:14
Bixentektwo, forgive me, but GNOME shell and Unity are faeces.08:18

ubottuHi!, Welcome to #xubuntu! Feel free to ask questions and help people out. The channel guidelines are at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/IRC/Guidelines. Enjoy your stay!09:09
gryAre the XFCE "event sounds" documented somewhere, please? A quick search didn't quite help.09:14
well_laid_lawngry: found this http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=1129489909:31
gryIt doesn't explain what events do the default "event sounds" get triggered by I'm afraid09:35
well_laid_lawnAccording to xfce developers, xfce doesn't have support for system sounds. See: http://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?id=5702.09:39
well_laid_lawnthat's a quote from that link09:39
gryI probably don't want system sounds. It's called "event sounds".09:40
well_laid_lawnsame thing afaik09:40
gryI would probably want some documentation to see what they are instead of testing them. And they are an option in a fresh xfce install.09:41

falken_Sysi, Where is the executable on my system and I can reassociate it?17:11
Sysiwrong/bad solution17:12
Sysiif problem is with panel launcher, remove it and drag terminal there from menu17:12
falken_No, it does not launch from Panel, from menu dropdown, and for some reason is suddenly not set as my preferred application in Settings>Settings Manager>Preferred Applications17:14
falken_SO I cannot run Console Emulator at all17:14
