Core78XHi ! That may seem very stupid, but what is Zeitgeist ? I keep seeing this everywhere and not only on Ubuntu. I saw it in some Google event and such.19:00
trismCore78X: http://wiki.zeitgeist-project.com/Getting_Started19:03
Core78Xtrism Thanks19:04
Core78XI had another question. Tomorrow is the release of Alpha 1 and I was wondering if I download a daily build image today, will it upgrade to A1 tomorrow ? ( update manager -d )19:05
trismCore78X: you won't need the -d, if you keep up with updates with any of the daily images, you will end up with the final 12.04 version when it is released19:06
Core78Xtrism: Oh really ? I thought you would miss some of the bigger updates if you didn't put the -d19:07
yofel-d is just for uprading to a release still under development19:08
yofeland you need it only once - and never if you install a precise daily image19:08
Core78Xyofel Oh I see ! Thank you guys !19:08

WaltherFII can't get any further than the boot log reporting everything [ OK ]22:29
WaltherFIctrl+alt+f1 does get me into the terminal and I can login, but LightDM doesn't start on desktop 7 as it should22:30
FernandoMiguelevening22:32
trismWaltherFI: you should check the logs in /var/log/lightdm for errors as well as /var/log/syslog and kern.log22:32
