I think it has to do with xfce desktop. If I install ubuntu then add myth to it will that give me the "regular" screens and will it make it easier for me to manage and learn?

[19:39] <Aliv3> Ok I think I found the card I needed it is /dev/ati/card0 but the probbed info and other details are messed up, how do I found out what I need?
