[19:12] <Snowhog> gundam_rx78nt1: This worked for Thunderbird, and the underlying 'quirk' may be affecting Amarok, so it won't hurt to try:  Do this. Launch Thunderbird. Then click-drag it to a smaller window size (it doesn't matter how much smaller - just make it smaller than when it started). Now use the maximize button and then File > Quit. Relaunch and see if it remembered it's full-screen size.
