[10:41] I prefer not to update the winff package for this, so what should I do? [10:42] https://buildd.debian.org/status/logs.php?pkg=winff&arch=armel [10:42] Elbrus: well, we need it built on armel in precise as well [10:42] I completely agree, but lazarus in precise is a lower version [10:42] 0.9.30 in stead of 0.9.30.2 [10:43] that is related to the failed build (although I don't understand why it goes wrong (only on armel). [10:44] Elbrus: you've got time to sort it out, Feature freeze is feb 16 [10:44] the build process looks in the wrong directory: lazarus/0.9.30/ i.s.o. lazarus/0.9.30.2 [10:45] I tried yesterday to get debian ARM support but nobody seemed to care [10:45] @ #debian-arm [10:45] or nobody had a clou of course :( [10:47] micahg: I assume you mean that I really should get Debian to fix this issue; can you advice me on where to start looking for help? I think there is just something strange going on on the armel buildd (or a bug in lazarus of course, which only manifests itself on armel). [10:49] Elbrus: maybe try to reproduce on the debian porter box [10:50] I can try a test build on Ubuntu precise armel and see what happens [10:51] micahg: that would be great of course [10:52] * Elbrus has read about the porter boxes before, but does not seem able to find the proper info now. [10:58] finally: http://dsa.debian.org/doc/guest-account/ [11:05] Elbrus: sorry, my armel box is being temperamental at the moment [11:06] jtaylor: sorry I didn't get to your branch this evening, I'll try to upload later today [11:07] micahg: I appreciate the effort, so np [11:07] * Elbrus is composing his request to NM-frontoffice now... [11:52] Question .. i'm trying to build a package. i've created package.install and added the following -- hello.py tmp (so i want the hello.py to be installed in /tmp when package in stalled). I've then created tmp folder under the debian folder and added hello.py to the tmp directory. However each time i run pbuilder, it complains that it cannot stat debian/tmp/hello.py because it does not exist. Help please [12:02] nvm -- i feex :) .. Happy New Year all [13:10] has anyone seen l3on recently? === sagaci_ is now known as sagaci [14:31] jtaylor: I think he came back home for Xmas, and didn't have internet handy. I am wondering is there any way for testing without recompiling whole unity source code? [21:12] jasox: What do you mean? Are you looking for a daily build? [21:15] brb [23:34] jtaylor: did you get an E-Mail acknowledging your upload? [23:34] yes [23:35] why? [23:35] hmm, weird, I"m not getting them [23:36] if i want to submit a more upstream version of a program into the repos for 12.04 post-release, how would I go about doing that? [23:37] backports or ppa [23:37] ah, my fault
