=== zyga_ is now known as zyga === doko_ is now known as doko [12:18] * ogra_ reboots into 3.0 on the ac100 [12:23] hmm, no sound istill [12:35] there should be sound ... [12:35] ogra_: is there a new kernel package? [12:38] marvin24, yep [12:39] 3.0.8-3-ac100 [12:39] seems stable yet [12:45] ogra_: there is some instability introduced by the upstream update from chromeos to 3.0.13 [12:46] then its good that we are still on 3.0.8 :) [12:46] if possible, hold off any further updates until this is fixed [12:46] what about sound? [12:46] janimo, ^^^^ [12:46] did you tried to "fix" the mixers? [12:46] well, i get a cracking/popping sound when i unmute the world, havent digged deeper [12:47] so i guess its just my old 2.6.xx config getting in the way [12:51] ok, keep trying ;-) [12:52] heh, will do, its not that important to me [13:01] ndec, invalid passcode ?? [13:02] ogra_: it's new year bug... [13:02] use 72420150 [13:02] k, thx [13:02] better :) [13:05] rsalveti: ^^ === sbambrou` is now known as sbambrough [14:40] marvin24, hmm, i was wrong, i have sound, its just that the pop sound is louder then the actual sound it plays (does it power up/down all the time ?) [14:41] ogra_: possible [14:41] ideally we should mute it before blobing [14:41] yep [14:41] I mean mute the amp [14:41] yep [14:41] the blob comes from muting the codec [14:42] well, there seems ot be some distortion too [14:42] playing the ubuntu login sound with paplay has some crackling in it [14:42] (wasnt the case with .38) [14:43] lower the speaker levek [14:43] or some other mixer [14:45] yeah [14:48] hmm, sad, still screen corruption with the newer kernel and binary driver :( [14:49] * ogra_ was hopig it would magically vanish [17:26] ndec: sorry, wasn't on-line at the time of the call [17:26] excuses :P [17:26] ndec: anything I missed? besides you pushing armhf drivers :-) [17:26] ogra_: haha [17:26] nice article about xbmc := [17:26] :) [17:26] ogra_: :-) that was the reason [17:27] rsalveti, we're waiting for IS to finish the hf PPA setup ... i hope thats done by beginning of next week [17:27] beyond that it should just be a matter of uploading :) [17:27] ogra_: yup, would be cool to have the drivers by the time of the sprint [17:28] ogra_: are you driving again to budapest this year? [17:28] must be quite cold I believe [17:28] no, its actually warm, i think its the warmest january i can remember [17:28] always around 7-10°C [17:29] so yes, i'll drive :) [17:29] and my car has a heating ;) [17:29] oh, ok, not that bad :-) [17:29] yeah, its very strange [17:29] i would actually have expected snow around this time of year [17:30] but i guess we'll have that mid summer from now on :) [17:30] ogra_: which is not bad I believe ;-) [17:30] unless you really like cold weather [17:30] not at all :) [18:48] rsalveti: you didn't miss much... and yes nice blog post. [22:39] Hi, I'm running Ubuntu 11.10 ARM on a pandaboard and am trying to get bluetooth working. Using a usb bluetooth adapter, I am able to turn on bluetooth and successfully scan for devices. I am not able to connect though. When I type 'lsmod', I am getting the btusb module, but not a [22:39] 'bluetooth' module. [22:40] the device shows up successfully on a 'hciconfig -a' query [22:41] I believe there is some bug in Ubuntu arm that is causing the problem. Does anyone know of a build that has solved this problem, or have other suggesstions for me?
