[23:05] Launchpad bug 722947 in harvest "Javascript does not work in Opera (affects: 1) (heat: 8)" [Low,Invalid] [23:06] well, that's not a bug in ubuntu, but harvest, but it looks ok [23:07] nonono [23:07] thats a remnant of a bug I reported a while ago [23:08] its probably not fixed but worked around [23:09] or is it? [23:09] can't find my old bug ._. [23:13] its still using the static html for me with opera [23:14] jtaylor, remnant? [23:14] search javascript isn't working in Opera 11.61 - just opened the bug again.... [23:15] got a stack trace from Opera, seems a syntax error is causing it - hope it helps! [23:15] yes thats what I got a while ago too [23:15] the non javscript version is less tested than the javascript one [23:15] bug 721486 was my original report [23:16] Launchpad bug 721486 in harvest "type error when clicking on "limit to" with opera (affects: 1)" [Undecided,Fix released] https://launchpad.net/bugs/721486 [23:16] its indeed better, but its still not the full js version firefox gets [23:21] jtaylor, just a dumb question - do you like using Opera? [23:21] yes [23:21] been using it since ages [23:22] never been a friend of firefox'es "install 20 untrusted extensinos to get it halfwy usable" approach [23:22] lol - dragonfly is a very sweet dev tool [23:23] thats nice too [23:23] good to find a fellow Opera lover! [23:23] though firebug is ok too [23:25] I've used Opera for a long time, firebug just feels cumbersome to use [23:25] I haven't used dragonfly it much recently, but in the early days firebug was superior [23:25] hear about the latest cutting edge dragonfly? - some nice javascript tooltips [23:26] looks much nicer now than I ahve it in memory [23:26] I think last I used dragonfly was ~2006 ;) [23:26] haven'T done much webdev since [23:29] ah ok - fav feature is the screenshot taker built-in & Color picker [23:29] bbl [23:30] Wasn't aware of harvest. Seems like a cool tool, but it seems to find bugs that are closed already. I see it's marked beta, I suppose I should file a bug about that. :)
