=== pleia2_ is now known as pleia2 [16:03] mdke: did we want to try adding more locales before uploading ubuntu-docs? [16:04] of course that would need the new yelp-tools which hasn't been uploaded yet (I'd have to find a sponsor for that as it's not in the desktop set though) === bregma|afk is now known as bregma [16:34] jbicha: I don't tend to import translations until after string freeze really [16:35] hmm, failed to build [16:36] mdke: I'm working on the ftbfs [16:37] jbicha: ok, thanks. I don't have a precise system to test here [16:38] it built fine on my oneiric live usb [16:39] there's an impressive amount of (with an extra space) problems in the translations [16:39] maybe that wasn't a critical problem in oneiric? [16:40] jbicha: such errors in translations are incredibly common. Translators are very good at mucking up xml tags. If they are interrupting the build, then that will be a problem... [16:41] possibly there is a more serious issue with that translation, or itstool has got stricter? [16:43] yeah, the last commit on https://gitorious.org/itstool/itstool/commits/master isn't in precise yet [16:44] shaunm: how about another itstool release? [16:44] that wouldn't explain a change between oneiric and precise though [16:45] unless there is something in 1.1.1 which causes the issue [16:45] yes, that's a "new feature" of 1.1.1 [16:46] ah, i c [16:47] well, all the translations will have issues of that type, so the only way we can get around it is by fixing those or only including C in the upload.. [16:47] In the old days I used to fix them, but they have become so numerous that I gave up [16:48] perhaps we just wait for a new itstool before the next upload [16:50] (assuming that the latest commit would fix the issue) [16:55] http://itstool.org/download/ [16:55] jbicha, mdke: done [16:56] 11 minutes, that's quite outstanding [16:56] you caught me at a good time [16:58] thanks for that [16:58] sure. thanks for reminding me. I didn't even realize that fix wasn't released yet. [16:59] shaunm: thanks!
