The chip is a Broadcom BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN accoding to lshw, and ubuntu installs the b43 driver.. but nothing happens. The wireless is dead. It doesn't even appear in the network indicator when b43 is installed.. The card's product name is BCM94311MCG, and all forum posts I can find are from 2008
