If I tell the machine to do anything like that, it reboots [09:49] If I tell it to shutdown, it reboots as well [09:49] Rebooting does as required though [09:50] Mine will suspend if I tell it to, now I've added acpi_sleep=nonvs to the boot options; but it currently won't suspend when I close the laptop lid. [09:51] Actually, the laptop indicated that it suspended even without that boot option, but when it came to resume, it did a full boot instead.
