[15:52] or should I ping? [15:53] should ping, no change since Saturday. Test forums running fine except for LP/SSO login [16:13] technoviking, what's broken about the SSO? [16:13] mhall119, johnlea sent me a mail that should have been sent to you, fwd'ed [16:13] also, time sensitive! [16:13] also, looks awesome! [16:17] test server had an error, and still need help get the login launchpad.net link showing up in vB4 [16:17] the vB3 instruction don't work [16:17] ah ok [16:17] so are we stuck waiting on something? [16:17] like, are they looking at the problem? === JackyAlcine_ is now known as jalcine [16:24] jcastro:unknown [16:24] probably need a php guru to figure it out [16:31] jcastro will be two mins [16:32] technoviking, Query: Is the new theme backwards compatible? [16:32] to vB3? [16:32] jono, no worries [16:32] I know it is just css, but it depends on all the ids / classes on the html [16:33] technoviking, Yes. [16:33] no, the theme structure is completely different [16:33] Shame [16:36] jcastro invite sent [16:37] odd, I don't see it yet [16:37] I usually get it right away [16:38] https://plus.google.com/hangouts/d0d9b4d73b0fa6d79f3b86697d54918ac6d70c05?authuser=0&hl=en-US# [16:38] jcastro^ [18:00] alright my friends [18:00] it's time to start into the weekend [18:00] have a great WE everyone [18:00] and see you next week [18:00] hugs hugs [18:01] have a nice weekend dholbach :) [18:01] you too :) [18:02] is there an official list of the default keybindings in unity for 12.04 somewhere yet? (I keep finding nice lists for older releases but some of them have changed) [18:02] pres super and keep it pressed :) [18:02] yeah, but there are more of them than that [18:03] ohhh that's handy to know [18:03] * czajkowski hugs dholbach [18:04] czajkowski: haha, yeah, got a few "WOW NICE!" comments from hold-down-super at our Ubuntu Hour on Wednesday :) [18:04] :-) [18:04] * dholbach hugs you all back [18:04] seeeeeeeeee youuuuuuuuu [18:32] jono, jcastro: one idea that came out of Connect, and may be a good thing at UDS was to have a "help desk" type email address for problems during UDS. That address forwards to a group of selected individuals so who could take care of the issues.. For example, if there is an issue with WiFi, or one of the projectors goes down, issue with summit, etc.. That way people can report issues and not spend a bunch o [18:38] wow... just had a lock down at my school district [18:39] :-/ [18:42] we have a UDS mailing list [18:42] perhaps use it more? [18:42] but make an alias like "help@uds.ubuntu.com" [18:42] jc[B/ws 30 [18:44] jcastro: this was a seperate email address with Connect because not everyone needs to know that the projector in room X broke... it would create a bunch of noise on that ML IMO... [18:44] or could create a bunch of noise [18:44] hmm ok [18:45] so something like, it would be IS, the front deskers, and other planners? [18:45] I'm dreadfully busy right now, but if you file an RT and give me the # I can get back to it later today [18:46] ya.. they have IS, front desk, me (i dont know why), a couple of the managers, not sure what else. [18:47] jcastro: just ping me when you have time and we will talk a little more about it, then I'll file an RT after we flesh a few things out [18:48] nod [18:51] we had four suspects ditch their vehicle at one of the schools and run in to the school -- the doors are supposed to be locked [18:52] they recovered two hand guns [18:52] wow [18:52] cjohnston, good idea [18:52] man... tonight will be an interesting night to have a chat with the kids [18:52] every building in the district went in to lockdown... all eight [18:54] jono: I'm trying to get a list of everyone that was added to the Linaro list (or atleast a reason that they were added).. jono I'm trying to think of the easiest way to do this setup as we don't have control of email addresses like they do (they can add people on the fly).. [18:54] Could you think over who should be on the list and I'll add them to the RT please? [18:54] cprofitt: wow, glad no one was hurt [18:54] me too [18:55] cprofitt: unfortunatly down here we get that a few times a month.. not the whole district, but a school or two [18:55] never a dull moment at US public schools :\ [18:56] yup [18:57] cjohnston, cool [18:57] cjohnston, I will see if I can, but I head out on vacation on Monday [18:57] otherwise, jcastro can help [18:58] jono: must be nice.. going anywhere? [18:58] cjohnston, yeah, going to Italy [18:58] wow [18:58] very nice [18:58] take me? [18:58] jono, there better be a Rush documentary on the laptop for the trip over. [18:59] jcastro totally :-) [19:05] jono: enjoy the trip dude [19:06] thanks cprofitt :-) [19:06] I am ready for a vacation :-) [19:12] * cprofitt nods [19:12] I understand that jono ... I get to that point each summer === dvestal|away is now known as dvestal [19:44] How do you call people who want to have everything, wiki, mail, forum, mailing list, irc, twitter etc. even if they don't need it? :D [20:18] jcastro: another subway revision likely coming out the pipeline soon [20:21] \o/ [20:23] test 1 2 3 [20:23] juju test [23:55] bodhi_zazen, 2 answers in one question? Confused. [23:57] yea, one for the acutual question, another for the actual problem (OP needs an initrd) [23:58] Seems two answers is less confusing [23:58] maybe add something on top of each? [23:58] I'm trying to use initrd from a livecd on my ubuntu install. Deleted it accidently. [23:58] (since you can't AU chat I'm just pinging you here, hope that's ok) [23:58] from the comments ^^ [23:58] Yea, that is great [23:58] AU chat does not work well with the proxy server my IT dept uses [23:59] hey bodhi_zazen - saw you on AskUbuntu again [23:59] on that UFW question...
