[11:38] <apinel> sound is ok, because when I start orca preferences it talks
[11:39] <apinel> but only there
[11:39] <AlanBell> ok, maybe you don't have desktop accessibility turned on
[11:40] <AlanBell> if you go to the system settings tool, universal access preferences, and turn on the screen reader from there it should turn on accessibility, you then have to log out and back in again I think
