TheProfGood day. Perhaps a beginner question but I'm not sure what is the correct process. I'd like to install edubutu 11.10 but I only have a CD drive. Doesn't boot from USB either. What should I do?21:01
alkisgTheProf: some options: 1) netboot it from a nearby PC (it's very easy),21:16
alkisg2) install the ubuntu cd and then install the edubuntu packages you want over it,21:16
alkisg3) use the plop boot manager to boot from cd first and usb then,21:16
alkisg4) copy the kernel from the cd to your disk and boot it with the same parameters21:17
TheProfalkisg, Thank you very much.21:18
alkisgFor (1), see the automation section of this page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LiveCDNetboot21:18
alkisgI.e. you boot your other pc with the edubuntu cd and only run 1 command21:18
TheProfOK I'll take  a look at that link21:21
