uvirtbot | New bug: #975973 in samba4 (main) "integrate with bind package" [Medium,Triaged] https://launchpad.net/bugs/975973 | 00:31 |
wdroberts | patdk-lap: not sure, but i noticed it on my 12.04 build. maybe try 'man whoopsie' or 'vi /etc/init.d/whoopsie'. | 01:06 |
patdk-lap | I tried | 01:06 |
patdk-lap | missing | 01:06 |
patdk-lap | I've installed 12.04 many times, for iso testing, but this is the first time I actually looked at it | 01:07 |
wdroberts | the name 'whoopsie' reminds me of 'oops' in the kernel, not sure if they're related or not | 01:09 |
patdk-lap | seem to be | 01:09 |
patdk-lap | but no info about it or how it works or anything | 01:10 |
delerium_ | Hi, Ok... I was stupid.... I upgrade my server to 12.04 and I have some software (Zimbra) that doesn't work anymore. Is there a way to roll back this upgrade ? | 03:18 |
delerium_ | (I was coming from 10.04) | 03:18 |
sysc | no way to roll back afaik... | 03:19 |
sysc | unless your running vmware and took a snapshot pre-upgrade | 03:19 |
delerium_ | sysc: nha.... I confirm, I was stupid ;( | 03:20 |

TeLLuS | Hi I noticed after upgrading that vservers is not working in precise. Since they moved to another server I have not been using it myself for some time.. I wonder if there is any other similar containment option available so I do not have to patch a kernel every time. If I look around only KVM is looking ok, but from what I can see it is not handeling memory in an efficient manner like with the vserver. | 13:33 |

Monkeypaws | can someone chat with me about LVM on my NAS? I want to do it, i think it makes sense for me, but i dont want to paint myself into a corner with something complicated... I want to add in drives of varrying sizes regurly and have it presented as 1 store. I don't think i want the snapshot stuff, just the ability to add in drives as I go. | 23:49 |
KM0201 | wha tdo yo mean, "paint yourself into a corner? | 23:51 |
