[07:56] janimo: where is the git repo for the ac100 kernel package? [07:57] ppisati, on zinc, jani/linux-ac100 I believe [07:57] janimo: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/git?p=jani/ubuntu-ac100.git;a=summary ? [08:00] ppisati, http://kernel.ubuntu.com/git?p=jani/ubuntu-ac100.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/packaging-chromeos-ac100-3.0 [08:00] not the master branch [08:00] janimo: than you forgot to push something [08:01] janimo: debian.linaro/changelog [08:01] ppisati, most definitely, last upload was not pushed, sorry [08:01] janimo: 3.0.19-1.1 [08:01] janimo: ok [08:01] I will. Are you doing some changes to all arm kernels or reviewing something [08:01] ? [08:01] janimo: just reviewing [08:02] ok, thanks for the notice. [08:07] ppisati, uploaded (after the obligatory fight with git push and configs) === scientes_ is now known as scientes [08:30] hello [08:30] I'm an omap n00b and I am trying to find the right info on how to get 3d desktop working, I am on a fresh install of ubuntu on pandaboard, with omap extras installed [08:56] so do I have to use linero if I want composited desktop? [09:00] oneman: Linaro has Linux kernels for ARM boards, like the OMAP 4 (Pandaboard) [09:00] oneman: If you want compositing, you'll likely want some kind of compositor [09:00] Which is higher up from the kernel in userland [09:00] right [09:01] I'm just not finding any information on this beyond "install the linero image" [09:01] Check the graphics capabilities of the OMAP 4, see if there is the ability to do 3D graphics. I know they use a mostly closed driver from Imagination. [09:01] for at least some of their graphics. [09:02] s/linero/Linaro/ [09:02] yeah there was more nasty blob action than I originally thought === doko_ is now known as doko === Wellark_ is now known as Wellark === yofel_ is now known as yofel === Guest10423 is now known as panda|x201 === arun__ is now known as arun_ [20:48] ogra_: ping === DWonderly is now known as Darkwing [23:40] hi! where can I find a ubuntu version for my Pandaboard Es with omap 4460 that runs with hardware accelerated OpenGL? [23:41] or do I have to get drivers separately from somewhere else? I've now tried various installations (Ubuntu 11, 12.03, 12.04, Linaro) and neither did the job out of the box [23:41] I also tried to install the TI omap4 extras for Ubuntu 11 I think, but that didn't work as well [23:41] any ideas? [23:42] I'd really like to know if omap4460 support is still problematic, or if I'm missing any packages? [23:47] lobotony, I would think 12.04 beta 2 with ubuntu-omap4-extras-graphics would do it for you. [23:49] ZaEarl: thanks! Do you mean one of these Ubuntu images? http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-preinstalled/current/ [23:50] those are similar. the beta is at http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/precise/beta-2/ [23:50] awesome! re: gfx extras, do I install these via adding a ppa? [23:51] yes [23:52] probably in https://launchpad.net/~tiomap-dev [23:53] ok, great, I've done this before, but with a different ubuntu version
