[14:23] <spych102> i follow the instructions at the download website and then nothing seems to get copied to my sd card
[14:26] <spych102> the command i used was gunzip -c ubuntu-11.10-preinstalled-desktop-armel+omap4.img.gz | sudo dd bs=64k of=sdb1
[14:27] <spych102> but when i look to see what's on sdb1 i have exactly the same contents as was previously on the card

[14:47] <spych102> rather than of=sdb1
[19:30] <GrueMaster> spych102: Actually, it should be /dev/sdb as the image file is for the entire SD card, not just a single partition.
