wilburubuntu 12.04: while using firefox for a short while, the right click function becomes corrupt and also by hovering the mouse pointer above the firefox icon it will no longer display the small information pop up...until i relog. i have installed chromium to avoid the annoying flaw.05:34
wilburmaybe this issue is actually being caused by firefox and not because of an oversight or maybe it has something to do with the fact that i am running 64 bit...either way it should not be like that.05:35
StevenKwilbur: This channel is for user support for Launchpad, you should reask in #ubuntu.05:36
wilburi mentioned it there also and was referred to here...but ok.05:36
wilburi have said my peace, if it remains so be it.05:37
wilburthank you, goodbye.05:38
ok2cqrHello, does anyone know how long does it take to delete files from my personal ppa after request, please?06:38
ok2cqrI did it about 10 hours ago and still getting error that files already exist06:38
ok2cqrI can't see them in the package list but after I try to copy package from other ppa, I get error that file already exists.06:39
wgrantok2cqr: https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad/+faq/99006:42
ok2cqrso I have to increase version also after I deleted original package?06:43
ok2cqrIt was only for testing, I made testing build and would like if it fails06:43
ok2cqrand it did, so I wanted to delete package I copied from other ppa06:44
ok2cqrand after a few hours of trying other build, I decide co get it back. It is the same package with the same content06:44
wgrantok2cqr: You have to increase the version, yes.06:45
ok2cqrI can't do that06:45
ok2cqrthe package is not mine06:46
ok2cqrI'll try to add that repo to dependency06:46
GlarbexHello, can I confirm that bugs.launchpad.net is changing SSL certificates? SHA1 fingerprints: old A7:97:F3:0E:EB:C2:23:15:A5:50:28:B1:DD:3B:B5:A2:C1:91:1C:1F and new E9:B6:4D:20:01:CC:A6:C8:56:F4:8F:35:3D:BA:94:03:FF:80:4A:E911:02
wgrantGlarbex: That's correct.11:03
GlarbexThanks.11:04
wgrantThe old one expires tomorrow :)11:04
GlarbexI saw that, I was just a bit paranoid because of the different issuer.11:04
Glarbex(I have heard of CA certificates trusted by browsers being issued to large organisations for the specific purpose of MitM attacks on their traffic.)11:07
wgrantYeah :/11:07
wgrantBut this particular one is real.11:07
GlarbexThanks.11:08
maxbHm, different CAs for launchpad.net vs. *.launchpad.net - not something I'd ever thought to look at before. Surprising.11:14
wgrantThey should match again once launchpad.net's expires in two months.11:16
maxbSo much nuisance caused by whoever had the ridiculous idea of basing SSL / cookie trust on "star dot" rather than "this domain and subdomains" :-/11:18
wgrantITYM "ridiculously profitable"11:19
penguin42Hi, I'm landing on a 'Lost something?' page when saving a status/importance and comment change on bug 995933    OOPS-a1bb3d284af4f172a061e39496c97db113:02

ubot5https://lp-oops.canonical.com/oops.py/?oopsid=a1bb3d284af4f172a061e39496c97db113:02
wgrantpenguin42: Refresh the page. It was retargeted from linux-meta to linux while you were editing.13:03
penguin42ah13:09
penguin42wgrant: Thanks13:10
wgrant(huh, I didn't think xen dom0 support was meant to even vaguely work in oneiric at all)13:11
penguin42I don't know, I'll leave that to the linux package guys to figure out13:11
penguin42wgrant: Is there a reason that the package name is embedded in the URL for the save-changes button, it doesn't sound like it needs to be and would fix that race13:12
wgrantpenguin42: Bugs can affect multiple packages.13:13
wgrantThe status is specific to a package.13:13
penguin42ah yes, ok13:13

thopiekar_hi.. I can't create any new branch on launchpad. Is there any reason? lp-id: thopiekar18:09
lifelesswhat happens when you try ?18:18
thopiekar_lifeless: there is nothing on the site that makes me possible to create one. On every "code" page I see a area which has a grey background but there is no text, like "Register a new branch" or whatever.18:23

sidneihow does one get a project group created these days?23:43
sagacisidnei, a team for a project?23:44
wgrantsidnei: We can create them for you.23:44
wgrantsidnei: What do you want?23:44
sidneiwgrant, can you create graphite-project and add graphite/carbon/whisper as subprojects?23:45
wgrantsidnei: https://launchpad.net/graphite-project is yours. You'll need to negotiate with the project owners (which seem to mostly be you...) to add them to the group.23:49
sidneiwgrant, awesome, thanks!23:49
