=== Dimmuxx_ is now known as Dimmuxx [11:08] chrisccoulson: do you have a few minutes now? [11:56] hi bhearsum, how are you? [12:16] i'm OK, how's it going with you today? [12:17] bhearsum, yeah, not too bad thanks [12:18] it ended up being https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-keyring/+bug/932177 that i was hitting, and i found a workaround for it [12:18] Launchpad bug 932177 in gnome-keyring "WARNING: gnome-keyring:: couldn't connect to PKCS11" [Undecided,Confirmed] [12:26] bhearsum, hmmm, that sounds like it's hiding another bug :) [12:27] probably, yeah [12:27] gnome-keyring-daemon doesn't seem to be launching quite correctly in non-GNOME/Unity desktops [12:28] yeah, that's possible. i imagine that not many people have tested it outside of those [12:30] yeah [12:30] oh woe is me, the life of an alternative window manager user :) === m_conley_away is now known as m_conley [14:07] bhearsum, how come you use somethinh like awesome? [14:07] note, i've never used it before ;) [14:08] i'm very keyboard oriented, and i also fuss a lot over window placement -- awesome is a tiling window manager, so i don't have to worry about window placement, and it has great keyboard shortcuts for pretty much everything [14:09] i don't really like how Unity is trying to be OS X, either :( [14:09] yeah, a few people have said that [14:21] right, we should have working daily builds again soon! [14:35] dang, we should have patented this with the "ubuntu for eyewear" april fools joke: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-18091697 ;) [14:45] hehe [14:46] that would've kept you funded for awhile :) === m_conley is now known as m_conley_away
