[01:27] totem, any reason you need that channel? seems you have been removed from there several times in the last year or so [01:27] bazhang, :D harharhar. okay [01:27] totem, ? [01:45] Now he is also banned for ban evasion [06:17] anyone know someone that can ban your ip from the entire freenode irc until you chance you mac and reset in 5 seconds? [06:17] * [indy3] (~indy3@68.205.131.65): indy3 [06:39] mcloy sounds like it'd be the name of some form of whisky. [07:57] doesn't go down well, though. bit harsh. [07:58] yup, a bit too volatile to my taste [07:59] was going to say about being enjoyable but meh /: [08:00] I'm trying very hard to find that bit in the experience [08:13] Myrtti: how did the pie go? did you do it yet? [08:13] i'm starting to get used to be gently nudged up from the bed by the earthquake :| [08:14] LjL :( [08:15] I tried googling about it last week, but all people seem to care about is the world's parmesan supplies. [08:16] elky: "heh"... i guess it's not huge, but there are some victims again [08:16] my sister is travelling near there, we got a bit scared 'cause her phone wasn't reachable [08:17] but that's just because our phone network is crap and they're all unreachable, she managed to send an SMS and tell us she's ok [08:18] In #ubuntu, mithran said: ubottu: i want to make a live DVD/CD is it possible? [08:18] i don't expect to have Japan's advance warnings on quakes, but from that to the phone network failing completely, there's a long way :| [10:19] @mark #ubuntu MrMalak keeps insisting "just run it on Windows" with a user who wants to run a game in WINE [10:19] The operation succeeded. [11:21] gbqw435 spam in #ubuntu [11:21] LjL: ^ [11:22] idoru got him, scratch that [11:25] sorry, was watching TV trying to understand what happened === Guest55695 is now known as Pici === Corey is now known as Guest10091 [14:29] ikonia: I don't see anything interesting in #freenode. [14:29] * Pici scratches head [14:29] me neither [14:29] I don't know why I've been asked to look ? [14:30] Maybe Sidewinder thinks you were a conspire dev? [14:31] don't know [14:32] I don't see anything that I should be looking at / interested in [14:35] !/me runs past, stark naked, hair on fire [14:35] mneptok: I am only a bot, please don't think I'm intelligent :) [14:35] sush you [14:36] Pici, florida- problem elsewhere too? [14:36] knome: doesn't look like it. I just happened to tab over to #xubuntu as it started. [14:36] Pici, ok [14:39] so florida = mcloy [14:40] whoops , plus - [14:40] aha [14:40] hrr [14:40] well, matches his ban mask [14:40] who cares, [14:45] Pici, he returned, in case you didn't notice :) [14:47] it's fine, I've just applied the same ban from the other channels to it [14:47] that's kept him out [14:47] okay, thanks :) [14:47] about to hit #ubuntu-beginners [14:48] maybe worth giving staff a prod [14:56] knome: oops. [14:56] Pici, woot? :) === Guest10091 is now known as corey === corey is now known as Corey === Fuchs is now known as Staffpony === Staffpony is now known as Fuchs [22:34] aloha all :D [22:34] how long i have to wait for see mah post in ubuntuforums? [22:35] i did a tutorial about mah conky config and i can't see it and i have to change some images i made a mistake =P -.- [22:36] curiousx: we only manage the IRC channels here. Have you tried asking in #ubuntuforums? [22:36] nop =P [22:36] didn't know that Pici -.- [22:36] when i was an ubuntuforums op there was usually "up to a week" as the guideline [22:36] Thats your best bet for forum related things :) [22:36] that was years ago though [22:36] erm, i mean moderator [22:36] thats the word on forums, yes [22:36] clearly i am out of practice [22:37] maco: so... aboout a week? =( [22:38] well... thx so... i'lll wait =( [22:38] depends on the person who does the tutorial reviews, but iirc, there's only one person doing that [22:38] ok [22:44] dem0n in #ubuntu seems to actually have an arm Ubuntu image for a real device they want support for (asking how to resize the image for more space). Do we support Ubuntu on ARM devices in #ubuntu? [22:46] Jordan_U: if you can, go ahead. it is after all the same image right? [22:46] I mean accept for ARM [22:46] except* [22:48] IdleOne: As far as I'm aware we don't supply any read-write ubuntu.img files which you woud want to resize "to make room for more apps". The install isos are all meant to be read only. I'm interested and plan to try to support them since I'm curious, but I wasn't sure whether that should be done in #ubuntu or elsewhere. [22:49] I didn't realize that Ubuntu for ARM was already shipping to consumers. [22:51] well, if what he wants to do is remaster the iso then that is different and we don't normally support that. [22:51] we usually point to !remaster [22:52] Jordan_U: I see no harm in helping him out, but then again it might set a precedent we don't want? [22:57] curiousx: was there anything else? [22:58] nop [22:58] it is spelled nope, with an E [22:59] xD didn't know that -.- [22:59] i'm from Argentina :D [22:59] curiousx: if there is nothing else please part the channel so we can keep track of who has been helped. [22:59] ok [22:59] sry [22:59] thank you. [23:00] didn't know that as well [23:00] np [23:01] Wow, there are multiple Ubuntu installing apps on the Android Market. It's odd to see something I've mostly thought of as theoretical just right there in front of me. I guess this image is loop mounted similar to Wubi, hence wanting to enlarge the image to get more space. [23:02] Jordan_U: make an ubuntu enlarging app for android! [23:02] 99 cents! you will be a hundredaire in no time [23:03] Don't forget your good friend IdleOne for the idea :)
