[01:09] Howdy, the latest update to mythbuntu broke my networking. I tried to run the gui and I think it won't let me modify anything because it didn't launch with root access. Can you tell me what the network configuration tool is named so that I can sudo it?? [01:37] normally? I just do, vi /etc/network/interfaces [01:59] patdk: for some reason dhcp is not working and I can't set the nameserver in resolv.conf. [01:59] (I can set it but it doesn't work) [02:01] if this is 12.04, you can't set it in there [02:01] that isn't supported anymore [02:01] did you upgrade to ubuntu 12.04? [02:02] did you bother to read the release notes about it? [02:02] yes i upgraded to 12.04 [02:02] no I didn't read the release notes. [02:03] well, that would help [02:03] I upgraded a slave backend with no problems [02:03] it would explain *atleast* why resolv.conf doesn't work [02:03] release notes are very very important [02:05] when I say I upgraded to 12.04 I kinda mispoke... I had done that when it came out and everything was working. I just did an apt-get update / apt-get upgrade and things went bad. === Michael is now known as Guest33301 [05:11] !help [05:11] !help For a complete list of my knowledge visit: http://www.baablogic.net/Zinn.cgi Other available commands: !status, !about, !bug [bug_number].
