[01:04] so I don't understand what happens with my installation. I instsall 12.04 on my system, and everything's fine until the next reboot and the update manager comes up and tells me there's about 50 MB of updates to install [01:04] but dpkg ends up hanging, and stracing shows it stuck on wait() [01:15] looks like it had something to do with samba === Ryan is now known as Guest29620 === dekarl1 is now known as dekarl [11:00] Hi all, I have a problem with mythweb, when I try to go to recorded shows I only get a blank screen. I have restarted my mythserver and tried a couple of different computer still the same problem. Im running mythtv 0.24. greatful for any help [19:12] rhpot1991: on the frontend [21:13] rhpot1991: so I'm a bit confused with the how I can edit the recording rules now [21:13] DaveMorris1, how did you do it before? [21:15] DaveMorris1: I guess maybe a better description of why its wrong might help? [21:15] one way would be to select a recording, menu (m) --> edit recording schedule --> then I could change between the options of what channels to find it on etc [21:15] I'm not really sure the issue [21:15] all on the editor [21:15] DaveMorris1, what theme? [21:15] on 0.24 this is [21:15] I do all of mine in mythweb so I might not be able to help [21:15] upgrade your theme to be sure [21:15] as do I [21:16] tgm4883: what is the actual mythtv theme the devs use? [21:16] arclight I think [21:16] doubt it [21:16] graphite [21:16] but without the background image [21:17] I'm pretty sure they use arclight and terrawhatever [21:17] so possibly try those and see if they are any better [21:17] well I assume they use whatever they want [21:17] changed the theme and it works as I expected [21:17] terra was the default in 0.24 [21:17] DaveMorris1: theme issue I suspect then [21:17] well there you go [21:17] DaveMorris1: could try mythbuntu theme [21:18] thats what I switched to 25.14 [21:18] thats worked well other than an issue with the metadata for me [21:18] I use steppes now [21:18] although that is a 0.25 theme [21:18] tgm4883: how dare you don't support us? [21:18] http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/File:Steppes-watch-recordings.jpg [21:18] tgm4883: I think DaveMorris1 is on 0.25 now [21:18] [www.mythtv.org] File:Steppes-watch-recordings.jpg - MythTV Official Wiki [21:18] or so I thought he said [21:18] yeah I am [21:19] upgrade from Lucid 0.24 to Precise 0.25 [21:19] DaveMorris1: make sure you submit your hardware profile too [21:19] on every box you own :) [21:19] yea, cause we like winning :) [21:19] !stats [21:19] http://mythbuntu.org/ppa-version-stats/stats.html http://mythbuntu.org/ppa-distro-stats/stats.html [21:19] hmm [21:20] I can't [21:20] !smolt [21:20] Sorry I don't know about smolt [21:20] it fails yo submit [21:20] the auto crash report got sent off yesterday [21:20] it's a conspiracy to stop us from global domination [21:20] oh noes [21:20] DaveMorris1: running autobuilds? [21:20] I think so [21:20] or mythbuntu updates, whatever we call it these days [21:21] at least on this machine [21:21] DaveMorris1, you would have to reenable it after the distro upgrade [21:21] yeah, I think I ticked it [21:22] let me double check in a mo [21:22] trying to do 3 things at once [21:23] thats better now I'm signed on [21:27] I assume I can use daily builds on one machine, and the slower release cycles on my main machines? [21:28] actually, I'll leave them on daily updates [21:29] DaveMorris: if the others are frontend only then I think so [21:29] I believe backends may have to be the same, not sure though [21:30] how do you automatically link your launchpad account to the crash reporter?
