[10:00] Hi, I'm looking for 0.24 packages for Precise and can see from http://ppa.launchpad.net/mythbuntu/0.24/ubuntu/dists/precise/main/ that packages are available [10:00] [ppa.launchpad.net] Index of /mythbuntu/0.24/ubuntu/dists/precise/main [10:00] unfortunately the "Packages" file is empty so does not reference these packages I can see available [10:02] I could grab these files manually but I'd rather this was handled by the package manager. Is 0.24 support being removed from Precise? [17:02] kevinwalke, 0.24 support was never in precise [17:02] if you look at those packages, they are super super old [18:09] April I believe [18:09] if the 'Packages' file was populated I could install these via apt-get [18:09] ubt if this is never going to be updated, then I'll install them manually [18:10] no biggy, just I need 0.24 for xvmc support for my frontend, when I get some new hardware this won't be an issue [18:11] thanks for your response anyway tgm4883 [18:11] appreciate it [18:11] kevinwalke, yea that won't be fixed [18:11] it would breakt the autogeneration of the image on http://mythbuntu.org/repos [18:11] [mythbuntu.org] Mythbuntu Repositories | Mythbuntu [18:12] cool, that's all I need to know - thanks again :) time to spend some money it seems! [18:49] tgm4883: autogeneration of packages is broken atm anyway isn't it? No new precise master builds in a week [18:50] Seeker`, master builds can break [18:50] that's why there is a very large warning when trying to activate them [18:51] I think its something wrong with the build script. The source is ok, its the 'make install' part that fails [18:51] permission denied [19:05] * tgm4883 looks [19:13] Seeker`, interesting, although the build script hasn't changed recently [19:13] wonder why it's failing on that [19:25] tgm4883: no idea. Tried working it out myself, got nowhere [19:26] if you cd to the external/zeromq directory and do sudo make install, it works [19:26] that is to say, it installs
