infinityAww, crap, jumped the gun on the armel mass-give-back, mono isn't published yet.06:18
infinityCurses.06:19
cjwatsonDisable all the armel builders until it is?06:20
infinityJust did. :P06:20
infinityStill, yay mono on armel.06:21
infinityJust need to fix ghc this weekend, and the port's officially unbroken.06:21
infinityAlso, boost1.50 transition anyone? :)06:21
infinityHrm, so much for unbroken.  Looks like "gprbuild", whatever that is, hangs on armel.06:24
cjwatsoninfinity: ^- care to have a look at that livecd-rootfs SRU?  I've filed an RT ticket to have BuildLiveCD upgraded06:28
infinitycjwatson: Already looking.06:28
cjwatsonGoody06:28
cjwatsonI think I'll go back to bed :-)06:30
infinityEnjoy.06:30
infinitycjwatson: That seems a bit clunky.06:32
* infinity guesses there's no saner way to do this without invasively patching live-build.06:33
infinitycjwatson: I'd probably be more inclined to add a sub-case to the LB_VOLATILE stuff in live-build and teach it about proposed.  But that's certainly more invasive for an SRU.  This should DTRT, I guess.06:41
infinitycjwatson: You also didn't update BuildLiveCD to match, but I guess that's in the quantal package?06:43
* infinity looks.06:43
infinitycjwatson: Accepted.  For the record, I think we should fix it differently in quantal, and I may commit a different set of fixes there later and push the live-build half to Debian.06:50
infinitycjwatson: But your patch was far less invasive than what I think is the "right" fix.06:50
cjwatsoninfinity: Right, it is kind of clunky.  I didn't trust myself to figure out how to extend the seventeen thousand places -updates is handled on a Friday evening / Saturday morning.  And yes, I didn't bother to do the BuildLiveCD update in precise.08:06
cjwatsoninfinity: You're probably right in the longer term.08:07
* infinity decides that Colin waking up -- for the second time -- must be a sign that it's bed time in Canada.08:39
infinitycjwatson: FYI, sigbin is the first (and only) Panda buildd running precise.  If you happen to know of something that explodes with cryptic messages about kernels too old and such, aim them there.08:41
infinity(We should get the rest reinstalled with some level of automation next week)08:42
cjwatsonOK, not offhand but cool09:09
cjwatsonBTW I whined at #ca-internal about the software-center regression that's breaking builds09:09
cjwatsonhttps://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/101953509:09
ubot2Ubuntu bug 1019535 in software-center "apt-xapian-index plugin broken with software-center 5.3.3; breaks quantal image builds" [Critical,New]09:09

slangasekcjwatson: from what I can see, our hybrid ISOs don't have a GPT on them, right?  That being the case, what's the best (simplest) way for me to get an EFI-bootable USB stick?19:21
cjwatsonslangasek: hm, yes, at the moment we do EFI booting by way of multiple ISO9660 catalogs, which probably isn't very hybrid-friendly ... I guess we're going to need more Garrett magic, but in the meantime, I think you'll have to create a GPT by hand plus an EFI System Partition with a FAT filesystem on it, and put the loader in /EFI/BOOT/BOOTx64.EFI in that23:49
