I now want to download and run a recovery programme called recuva. However when I try to open this I get the following archive error message Archive: /media/Ubuntu 12.04 LTS i386/wubi.exe [14:08] [/media/Ubuntu 12.04 LTS i386/wubi.exe] [14:08] End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not [14:08] a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the [14:08] latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on [14:08] the last disk(s) of this archive. [14:08] zipinfo: cannot find zipfile directory in one of /media/Ubuntu 12.04 LTS i386/wubi.exe or [14:08] /media/Ubuntu 12.04 LTS i386/wubi.exe.zip, and cannot find /media/Ubuntu 12.04 LTS i386/wubi.exe.ZIP, period. [14:08] Does this mean that I need to reinstall Ubuntu from my boot up disc. If so, how do I do this - should I uninstall and then boot up with the cd in the drive? Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks [14:08] wubi sounds promising [14:09] I've never tried wubi I never will. I suggest you to install ubuntu for real ;) === Guest75975 is now known as Player [14:50] bioterror: lol that guest13408. recuva ia windows utility [15:46] stoned-rose, okay, :) === raju is now known as yfle === qvazar is now known as Calahan === glebihan_ is now known as glebihan === cortman is now known as debian_FTW === Axlin_ is now known as Axlin === debian_FTW is now known as cortman === holstein_ is now known as holstein === Axlin_ is now known as Axlin
