dpmHey Launchpad folk, good morning. Last night I got a few e-mails about a failed PPA build. I don't quite understand what the issue is, as it's a daily build from a recipe, which uploads a new package upon every commit. I'm not sure whether it is a glitch or whether it is something I need to worry about. Here are the contents of the 2 first e-mails I got (of a total of 4): http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/1150176/06:59
dpmAny ideas what the issue could be?06:59
StevenKFile qreator_12.05.6-0~119~precise1.tar.gz already exists in Qreator daily releases, but uploaded version has different contents.07:03
StevenKThe recipe tried to upload the same version07:03

Laneythe downtime is why cdimage builds are failing, and why half the distro builders have gone away too?08:52
Rojhow i can find path of ppa installation path in python?08:52
czajkowskiLaney: yes I think so, wgrant yes?08:54
wgrantLaney: Yes.08:55
wgrantA lot of things like that will be broken for a few hours over the next few days.08:55
Laneyfair enough08:55
* Laney questions "Official Ubuntu distribution builders will be largely unaffected by08:55
Laneythis maintenance." ;-)08:55
czajkowskiLaney: see our blog or launchpadstatus on idenit.ca/twitter also G+ and FB08:55
wgrantLaney: Yeah, I'm not quite sure what happened there.08:56
czajkowskiLaney: delays :)08:56
Laneyczajkowski: I did see that, but all of the communication pretty explicitly mentions PPAs only08:56
czajkowskithis is what we were told08:57
czajkowskiand the others would be delayed hence the topic.08:57
Laneynot criticising, just explaining why i'm confused08:57

mandelhello, I had to change my ssh keys in my machine and after I uploaded the public key I'm getting permission errors, any idea of what might be happening?09:33
czajkowskimandel: not sur etoday may have been a wise day to do this :)09:33
czajkowskiwgrant: knock on effect ?09:33
mandelczajkowski, ouch..09:34
wgrantmandel: There's no problem on our end.09:34
wgrantSounds like you might have uploaded the wrong one, or your SSH client isn't looking in the right place09:34
mandelwgrant, weird.. I'll delete all the config that sshebang added and will see if that helps09:35
mgzmandel: run `ssh -vv yourlpusername@bazaar.launchpad.net` and see what the added output says09:35
mandelon it09:35
mandelmgz, wgrant, the following is the output of ssh verbose: http://paste.ubuntu.com/1150320/09:38
mgzoo, that's fun, new one to me.09:39
mgzkey is accepted but agent can't sign09:39
mgztry killing your ssh-agent and trying again? private key might be bad or have wrong perms or something09:40
wgrantSorry, ISP routing fail.09:40
mandelmgz, sure09:40
czajkowskiwgrant: so knock on effect..09:41
wgrantHeh09:41
czajkowskiwgrant: hah see I had to br right at least once :)09:42
czajkowskiit's rare09:42
mandelmgz, killed it and tried again and same issue09:42
mgzis the log output any different?09:43
mgzyou should have been prompted for your private key password09:43
mandelmgz, same issue09:43
mandelmgz, interestingly I just did the same with a windows vm and worked.. so I don't think it should be a problem in your end09:44
mgzcan you paste the output of ls -l on ~/.ssh please?09:46
mandelmgz, sure, here you have it: http://paste.ubuntu.com/1150332/09:47

mgzrun `ssh-add -d`?09:49
mandelno luck09:50
mandelmgz, let me reboot the machine as a desperate move.. brb09:50
mgzI guess it's some other key agent that needs restarting? what's the gnome one called?09:51
mandelmgz, after restarting everything it worked.. I guess you were right some client was there with an old priv key in memory09:55
mandelthat was annoying09:55
czajkowskimandel: at least tis sorted09:55
mgzright, I think it was just gnome-keyring or something that needing restarting09:55
czajkowskimandel: but next time not on days when lp is being a bit special!09:55

mgzczajkowski: really stuff like that should just be punted to ubuntu or something12:12
mgzit's a packaging problem, better answered by people who do that (which it has been)12:13
czajkowskimgz: we do retarget some stuff over but less specific stuff is us12:13
StevenKWe don't help with build problems like that, it's clearly not our problem.12:15
Lasallhi, is it possible to copy packages from one ppa to another? (and if yes, how?)15:07
