=== gary_poster is now known as gary_poster|away [01:17] wallyworld_, wgrant: Your thoughts on http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/1176978/ ? [01:19] BRANCH_POLICY_ALLOWED_TYPES perhaps? [01:20] Which is just awkwardly long [01:20] but more clear [01:21] i don't agree that it's awkward [01:21] but that's just mho [01:21] wgrant can have the casting vote [01:22] But he isn't old enough to vote? [01:22] lol [01:24] Hey, I can even drink the US as of a few months ago! [01:24] I agree with wallyworld_ [01:24] Both on that BRANCH_POLICY_ALLOWED_TYPES is good, and that I should have the casting vote because I'm awesome. [01:25] * wallyworld_ gets a bucket [01:25] :) [01:27] * StevenK pushes up the branch, since you both suck [02:12] wallyworld_, wgrant: https://code.launchpad.net/~stevenk/launchpad/exported-policy/+merge/122184 [02:13] StevenK: 8 - 'POLICY_ALLOWED_TYPES', [02:13] 9 + 'BUG_POLICY_ALLOWED_TYPES', [02:13] 10 'POLICY_DEFAULT_TYPES', [02:13] Perhaps rename POLICY_DEFAULT_TYPES as well? [02:15] +1 [02:17] wallyworld_: And POLICY_REQUIRED_GRANTS in branchnamespace? [02:17] Rargh, tab fail [02:17] why not, might as well [02:27] wgrant: Diff updated [02:36] StevenK: r=me, thanks [02:36] StevenK: Your security_contact droppage is good to go out tonight? [10:13] That was probably the run that we selfishly had killed so a later rev could be deployed [10:13] that sounds likely. [10:14] aborted after running a few hundred tests, from the report [10:14] The rule of buildbot failures: if the current/last build in either lane of http://lpbuildbot.canonical.com/waterfall is red, you need to do something [10:14] otherwise ignore it, because someone else has fixed it [10:14] okay, thanks! === al-maisan is now known as almaisan-away === gary_poster|away is now known as gary_poster === bac changed the topic of #launchpad-dev to: http://dev.launchpad.net/ | On call reviewer: bac | Firefighting: - | Critical bugs: 4.0*10^2 === almaisan-away is now known as al-maisan === al-maisan is now known as almaisan-away === almaisan-away is now known as al-maisan === jamestunnicliff_ is now known as jamestunnicliffe [13:59] jcsackett: I had a look at the filebug implementation of information_type, and it looks totally separate from the bug one. === al-maisan is now known as almaisan-away [15:20] i'm attempting to login to staging.launchpad.net but am getting invalid password errors from the two-factor auth query. could this be something unique to staging or likely my 2fa is broken? [23:33] staging and production cannot use the same devices or they get out of sync [23:33] and if you set 'always use 2fa' then you are screwed b/c staging will try to use it...but you don't have a registered device. [23:36] bac: Right, I believe they intended to disable that setting for everyone on staging, because you obviously can't use the same device on both [23:36] So everyone would be locked out
