[01:14] Oddly, this has been working on my laptop for the last year, without a problem. I upgraded to the current packages for my distro, and now it's dead. Including all previous verisons. [01:15] hmm, no idea about Quadro.. iirc, that's mostly a case for the 'old-legacy' 96 driver [01:16] worm: ye, there are several lines, one says "insmod ext2" ,should it change this to ext3? [01:16] Sure [01:16] szal, tried that, but let me try -again- and see if it works where it didn't 10 minutes ago [01:17] Launch_Director: Change everything to make it suits your computer. [05:13] yah im not much of a fan of eycandy [05:14] lidar, so what do you consider a weak system? [05:14] id take windowmaker over compiz lol [05:14] I agree with you ripresatechn, but i like the windows animation lol [05:14] cowsquad: less than 2 gigs of ram [05:15] ok lidar, [05:17] using fluxbox i was able to get ubuntu down to 213mb of ram usage [05:17] lidar, so do you think that compiz eats ram like crazy? Ptp works, but it would only access pictures [05:23] cowsquad: install mtpfs and mtp-tools [05:24] that is why i am trying to search on google. it seems like a mess :) [05:25] seems silly [05:26] i am getting message starting snmpd but ports are not opening and also i can see any process running :S [05:26] where is a good place to post screen shots [05:26] imgur [05:26] imgur.com [05:28] scuse me, is it best to use crontab -e to set up cronjobs or place scripts in the cron.
