dutchiethat's done the trick00:02
dutchiethanks jbicha00:02
jbichacool, I'm going to see if I can add that to Tweak Tool00:02
bjsniderjbicha, gnome tweak tool?00:12
dutchieoh, another thing while i'm here: i seem to have problems booting my btrfs disk00:23
dutchieit worked fine in precise00:24
dutchiei get "No filesystem could mount root, tried: ext3 ext4 vfat fuseblk" followed by a panic after some stuff that scrolled past before i could ready it00:28
jbichadutchie: actually the focus settings is already in Tweak Tool, it's the bottom setting on the Windows panel00:29
dutchiei should try the tweak tool :)00:30
bjsniderjbicha, gnome tweak tool?00:59
bjsniderjbicha, if you make changes and submit them upstream would they probably be accepted at this point?01:02
jbichawell the changes aren't needed after all01:04

crfWhen I press the power key on my computer, a menu comes up offering to suspend/hibernate/restart/shutdown, but when I choose "suspend" nothing at all happens. But I can suspend and also hibernate the computer when using the menu on the top right of the panel. I can also pm-suspend from a terminal.05:36

gnomefreak Beta1 Released http://releases.ubuntu.com/12.1007:54
linociscothe office will kill me if I download over 600MB daily08:28
geseryou can use the daily iso to install it (e.g. into a VM) and you can keep it up-to-date like any other installation08:33
geserdepending on how much gets uploaded each day you have to download around 50 MB each day (perhaps on some days a little more but much less than an ISO)08:35
geserhmm, is it still possible to rsync the ISO to keep it up-to-date?08:35
dutchieanybody know why the kernel in quantal might not boot a btrfs root fs? i have a separate ext4 /boot partition, and it worked fine in 12.0408:50
