[01:26] jea: any idea where we log the bug against empathy to get it showing completed? Is it against empathy itself or against the translation team? [01:31] I am not entirely sure, but I think the translation team would be best. They can always move it to empathy if it is in the wrong place [01:33] Actually, wouldn't the translation team just put it back on us? [01:34] Do you mean the enAU translation team, or translations in general? [01:37] Actually bug 128324 seems to fit [01:37] Launchpad bug 128324 in Launchpad itself "translator-credits remains "untranslated", so the percentage is < 100%" [High,Fix released] https://launchpad.net/bugs/128324 [01:38] Even better, bug 503421 already mentions the string in question [01:39] Launchpad bug 503421 in Launchpad itself "Even after fixing translator-credits, some still remain untranslated." [Critical,Triaged] https://launchpad.net/bugs/503421 [01:39] it is good it has been raised already, but bad it is still a work in progress [01:41] it seems like nobody really wants to take responsibility to fix it [01:41] You haven't come across any other packages like this in enAU? [01:42] There were two from memory - empathy and one other [01:43] I'll look it up now [01:43] empathy and evolution are the two [01:44] I'll finish up evolutino then [01:44] So I can link to it and show the rest is translated [01:45] Ok [01:49] Getting timeout errors :/ [01:49] i had a few earlier also. they seem to be more common over the past few months [01:51] Ok, giving up on batches of 50. [01:51] Third strike. [01:51] i had to resort to 10 a couple of weeks ago [01:56] Hah just about made trash a kiwi translation "rubbish bun". [01:56] That would be funny to see [01:57] We had some German students in our classes with a heavily accented Kiwi as well. We were doing a group marketing plan and the Germans had so much trouble understanding the Kiwi. [02:00] Accents often cause issues like that. I have a hard time understanding one of my group members, because his english is not that great, and he speaks very quickly and softly [02:01] The Germans were good at researching and preparing findings as they were essentially finished their Master's already. So we got them to do that and we'd just tidy up their use of language. [02:01] We don't have as many international students as I expected though really. [02:02] I think we have a few in Engineering, which is understandable [02:02] It is nice when the group works out well [02:03] I expected more for the MBA, but apparently a lot of private firms run MBA programs these days catered to international students. So the universities don't get as many. [02:05] oh, ok. didn't realise that [02:24] Alrighty [02:24] Just updated the bug report with the strings [02:24] I gotta run :) [02:25] ok. see you later [10:24] does anyone here attend the LUV meetings at Trinity College in Melbourne? [10:26] I am up in Brisbane, so not much use with that [10:42] ScottHarrison: I'm in Brisbane as well but I konw there is a #LUV channel that might have a few more people that go [10:43] thanks
