FloatingGoati quite like ubuntu studio, i must say. ive been using it as my main OS in place of a default 12.04 and it has been a pleasant transition so far. a joy to use. great job ubuntu studio team.14:32
smartboyhwFloatingGoat, thanks:)14:33
FloatingGoatone thing i would to have like to have seen was lmms by default.14:36
FloatingGoatits no big deal but.14:37
smartboyhwFloatingGoat, you mean put it in the ISO?14:37
FloatingGoatyeah and make it launchable with the menu, maybe even with vst support included?14:42
FloatingGoatsmartboyhw: what do you think?15:02
smartboyhwFloatingGoat, err ask ailo_ or len-dt for that:P15:02
ailo_I don't know why it is not included. We might need to think about a more structured way of making those decisions. There is a goal to keep Ubuntu Studio more directed towards the newcomer, so I guess in that respect, LMMS is a good choice for default installations.15:04
smartboyhwailo_, so maybe we can just make it into the seeds right?15:05
ailo_smartboyhw: If you like, have a look at what it depends on, and how much added size it would give15:07
smartboyhwailo_, 10.5 MB15:07
smartboyhw6 packages in total15:07
smartboyhwlibrtaudio4, librtmidi1, libstk0c2a, lmms-common, stk along with main package lmms15:08
