doko_Sweetsha1k, libreoffice ftbfs on armel/armhf11:43
doko_verbose build logs are again turned off :-(11:44
ogra_doko_, well, there is also Bug 106244811:46
ubottuLaunchpad bug 1062448 in libreoffice (Ubuntu) "soffice.bin crashed with SIGSEGV in lucene::index::IndexFileNames::fileNameFromGeneration()" [Undecided,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/106244811:46
ogra_plars found it yesterday11:46

Sweetsha1kdoko_: That buildlog says it segfaults in XHC for the presenter-screen. All that does is calling cp and zip. So either: 1/ zip is broken on arm (and hasnt been at the last upload) 2/ zip on arm has a heisenbug. 3/ LibreOffice does something totally different in 3.6.2. the chances of 3/ are slim to zero compared with the other options.12:10
doko_Sweetsha1k, could you start a local build on scheat to verify?12:11
Sweetsha1kdoko_: I will give it a try.12:12
doko_thanks12:12
doko_don't forget to dist-upgrade first12:12
Sweetsha1kdoko_: will do. thanks for the heads-up about the ftbfs.12:14
Sweetsha1kogra_s bug could be more interesting.12:14
Sweetsha1k:/12:15
doko_yeah, I mentioned scheat, so your local machine is available for debugging ;p12:16
Sweetsha1koh, I lied. It only does cp/zip on LO master, but on 3.6 it actually calls HelpLinker, so LibreOffice is in the mix there still. So my bet is on HelpLinker being unstable and having been so the last upload too (just being lucky then).12:20
* ogra_ doesnt think anyone tested libreoffice on arm since tobin is gone 12:26
ogra_(which was mid 12.04)12:27

Sweetsha1karmboard have never been the limiting resource. But there are only limited amounts of me available (in numbers: 1)13:04
penguin42do things like LO have automated test scripts as part of the build?13:07
sladenLaney: if you're uploading modified versions of the font, can you please stick  0.80-0ubuntu5+console+renamedmedium  in the version number or something13:08
sladenLaney: so that these don't interfere with virgin .debs13:08
sladenor  +console~renamedmedium  as the binary hacking is a negation13:09
jtaylordoes this patch look ok to fix the lustre ftbs: http://paste.ubuntu.com/1263823/13:34

dokochrisccoulson, micahg: the recent firefox and thunderbird uploads did send our arm buildds to death. please don't retry these builds once the buildds come up again13:43
chrisccoulsondoko, ok. i guess armel will not get this security update then14:06
dokochrisccoulson, do you have access to the ubuntu-mozilla-security ppa? were just the armel builds failing?14:07
chrisccoulsondoko, yeah, it looks like all of the armel builds are failing :(14:08
dokoand somebody did give them back :-/14:08
chrisccoulsoni really need a native PPA for the beta channel, so i don't get surprises like this 2 days before the release :/14:08
chrisccoulsonhmmm14:09
chrisccoulsonit wasn't me who gave them back14:09
ogra_thats what we have a community for :P14:09
dokochrisccoulson, does canonical-arm-dev work for you?14:09
ogra_not yet14:11
ogra_i can add him immediately14:11
ogra_done :)14:12
