[03:20] so google-chrome-stable wouldn't update for me (error involved the possibility that "the compressed file(s) have become corrupted." So why didn't the update manager just clear it and try to redownload it? I did an apt-get clean and autoclean, then apt-get update and apt-get install google-chrome-stable and it worked fine [03:20] wouldn't it be wise that if the error is b/c the DLed package update is corrupted, that it would try to re-download it? === balloons_ is now known as balloons === balloons is now known as Guest33844
