[19:23] <TheProf> Hello! A very happy thanksgiving to those of you celebrating today.  I have come across a strange problem with my edubuntu 12.04 installation.  Several accounts when they log in, only get a background image. No icons, no toolbars, can't left or right click.
[19:23] <TheProf> actrl+alt+del brings up a dialog box allowing them to log out.
[19:25] <TheProf> Entirely deleting and re-creating the account with the same username doesn't fix it!
