RhondaIt's not like I predicted additional spam for changing the mail address on the packages.ubuntu.com website, but … well, I was right. :)08:49
geserhow long did it take between rollout and more spam?09:04
Adri2000Rhonda: by the way, on the french version it says "contact rhonda@ or debian-l10n-french@lists.debian.org". not sure it's a good idea to point to a debian mailing-list here09:06
LaneyCan syncpackage sync to a PPA?10:22
cjwatsonsyncpackage can't, but copy-package (in lp:ubuntu-archive-tools) can.10:24

aboudreaultdo you know this error:  ld cannot fin -lstdc++ ??19:16
aboudreaulttrying to build a package in quantal19:16
jtaylorinstall g++19:17
aboudreaultthis probably come with build_essential, isn't?19:18
jtayloryes19:18
aboudreaultthen it's already installed19:18
jtaylorcan you show the full error19:19
aboudreaulthttp://pastebin.com/XqAWppSV19:23
aboudreaultjust added build-essential explicitly in the builddep... currently building19:23
jtaylorwhy are you linking with gcc?19:24
aboudreault?19:25
jtaylorif it needs stdc++ you should link it with g++19:26
aboudreaulthmm... not sure why everything was working in precise19:27
micahgbuild-essential isn't meant to be in build-dependencies19:27
aboudreaultmicahg, yeah, that's what I've noticed... so I tried with it explicitly19:32
micahgaboudreault: build-essential is meant to be installed in the build env19:32
aboudreaultha19:33
aboudreaultjtaylor, it works with gcc, but not with gcc-4.620:02
jtayloryou need to install g++-4.620:02
aboudreaultbut does with gcc-4.720:02
jtayloror the accompaning libstdc++20:02
aboudreaultstrange hack though :/20:03
jtaylorno20:03
jtaylorwhy should libstdc++ be included in gcc?20:03
jtaylorits the C compiler after all20:03
jtaylorif you want c++ use g++20:03
aboudreaultwell, that stuff is generated by ruby stuff20:04
aboudreaultthanks for your help20:05
jtaylorcan we already sync to raring?20:41
cjwatsonjtaylor: yes, but you'll need to use 'syncpackage -r raring-proposed' until the next ubuntu-dev-tools upload22:03
