[10:53] Can anyone help me? [10:54] Hello? [10:54] Bobhostern, hello [10:54] Can you help me with a problem? [10:55] Bobhostern, what problem? Name here here and see who can help:D [10:55] Well, I can't see the blue toolbar on any window anymore... [10:56] What was the name of the package? [10:56] Bobhostern, go to a terminal and type "xfwm4 --replace" [10:56] Got this too 2 days ago:P [10:56] Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! [10:57] LOL [10:58] :3 [11:01] smartboyhw :) [11:01] contrapunctus, :) [11:01] This little dock on the bottom of my screen is a little annoying, where may I disable it? xD [11:02] contrapunctus, dunno [11:02] Hello. [11:02] contrapunctus, sudo apt-get remove xfce4-panel or something???????? [11:04] Heh, probably that. Thanks ^_^ [11:04] Well, I went to see if the setting would stay....And it didn't. Will I have to do this every time I log on? [11:04] Bob [11:04] Add it to the startup. [11:05] How? (obviously new to Linux -_-) [11:05] one sec [11:06] Bob, xfce4 right? Click on the button in the top left, [11:06] settings > settings manager > session and startup > [11:06] Ok. [11:06] Bobhostern, rm -r ~/.cache/sessions [11:07] 'application autostart' tab. [11:07] Odd, though, you shouldn't really be having this problem. O_o [11:08] smartboyhw: Thankfully, I first tried 'xfce4-panel --help'...then --disable...and realized that removing it would also remove the taskbar >___> [11:08] Foo. [11:08] * smartboyhw has that problem also [11:08] contrapunctus, boo [11:09] Lemme reboot and see if that solved the problem. [11:09] * contrapunctus , touchwood, has never had it. [11:11] It did fix it! ^^ [11:13] Bobhostern, :D [11:14] :3 Thansk! [11:15] Bye! [11:16] :D [16:36] heyhey [16:36] is anyone using the Focusrite Scarlett 18i6 (usb2) interface? [16:47] ubuntu 12.10 mounts my mobile phone automatically. 12.10 ubuntustudio does not. Instead, I do have to mount it manually. Is this intentional feature. How I could configure my ubuntustudio to act like ubuntu with this regard? [17:00] mlpug: yes [17:00] away [17:00] mlpug: yes to both [17:01] ubuntu is using unity... we use xfce.. by default, devices are not auto mounted.. you can set that in the preferences [17:04] okay. found it. tnx. [17:04] does this ship with some significant performance penalty or what might be the reason to have it disabled by default [17:05] mlpug: its a preference... i personally prefer it not auto mounting [17:05] one could argue its a security risk i suppose
