mstinsonGreetings. Stopping by before bed. Has anyone heard if Ubuntu ARM will be coming to the Nexus 10? The Nexus 7 appears to have closed nVidia blobs while the N10 uses a Mali GPU which has BSD licensed kernel drivers.04:56
mstinsonI'm holding out for Nexus 10. It would be sweet if I could kick Android and use it as my second machine/screen.04:58

SoulShadowseems like a rather expensive second screen06:20

mjrosenbI recently apt-get installed a 3.4 kernel on my pandaboard, and since then, it has been locking up a few minutes after booting08:37
mjrosenbapt-get remove NEWEST_KERNEL_VERSION should just kick me back to a 3.2 kernel, right?08:38
discopigmjrosenb, assuming you didn't apt-get remove the old one, yes08:56
discopigshould default to the one left ther08:56
discopige08:56
mjrosenbyeah, removing old kernels is usually a bad idea08:59

VarmVaffelI got a custom board running plain linux, and whenever I try to connect a Huawei USB-modem it instantaniously reboots14:48
VarmVaffelno error message, just a reboot14:48
VarmVaffelif I keep the USB modem in at startup, it reboots immediately when it initializes the USB system14:48
VarmVaffelanyone have any experiences with this kind of happenings?14:49

SailorMoonyou guys exist!19:50
SailorMoonNexus 7? Rom file?19:50
SailorMoonWhy you no exist?19:50
FrankWMillerthere hasnt been much activity in the last 10 minutes or so19:50
SailorMooni want this Q~Q19:52
SailorMoonPerhaps its because androids rom installer is used to 100 to 200MB rom files, not 700 lol19:52
SailorMoonor perhaps its because the internal memory gets formated19:52
SailorMoonor perhaps they just dunno how to make a rom19:53
k1l_SailorMoon: just boot a live-usb ubuntu and install it. if you dont want to use ubuntu on a pc o_O19:57
SailorMoonubuntu doesnt work with my wireless19:59
SailorMoonor i would have by now lols19:59
SailorMoonid also like more detail on if this does anything to the recovery partition of the tablet19:59
SailorMooni assume it does, wich is why it says a full recovery is needed19:59
SailorMoonso nvm that last question20:00
SailorMooni dunno how much you know about this installation process, k1l_, but would virtualbox's usb host mode thingy suffice?20:01
k1l_SailorMoon: i would go with a live-usb. i can not imagine of a wirelesscard not working under ubuntu. or you could stick a cable in it for the 5mins. but the virtualbox way should work, too20:04
SailorMooni know it doesnt work, it hasnt worked since ubuntu 6 or something, i try every ubuntu version when they come out. i have to install a special broadcom package and then it stops working when i run apt-get update or whatever20:08
SailorMoonanyways, gotta go. Thanks for the chat :3 bye20:08
