[03:03] Allo.. I have an odd question about Flash & Ubuntu [03:06] Dranemra, Well. ;) [03:06] I can't get rid of the Adobe Flash Player Settings box in Chromium or Firefox [03:08] Once it pops up the whole flash applet freezes and doesn't respond to any mouse or keyboard commands. [03:09] Dranemra, I can't guarantee the removal from chrome it comes with it, but from the system. sudo apt-get purge adobe-flashplugin flashplugin-installer [03:10] Thing is Wilee, I need flash for a lot of what goes on on the web. I just can't understand why the Settings box won't respond to mouse commands. [03:14] Dranemra, I'm not real up on all the possibilities, there are open source flash apps like gnash. THe main channel might be more helpful then me, if you get no answers here, since you have posted there already.
