=== ripps_ is now known as ripps [04:08] I need help. [04:09] How do I install packages from a PPA? [04:10] A_Person: it tells you on the PPA page, under "Adding this PPA to your system" [04:11] so i just have to access it from the dash home? [04:13] you go into your package manager and add the source, the one starting with "ppa:" [04:14] or use the command-line tool "apt-add-repository" [04:17] ok, thanks === Quintasan_ is now known as Quintasan === yofel_ is now known as yofel [16:36] * andol keeps getting timeout errors when trying to access https://launchpad.net/~username. https://bugs.launchpad.net/~username and https://answers.launchpad.net/~username on the other hand seem to respond nicely. [16:36] hello, I have code imported from Sourceforge subversion, however, the URL for the repo changed, is there anyway I can update the URL for the import? [16:42] hi guys, looks like I can't open any ~ profile (timeout error) since days [16:42] (for example: https://launchpad.net/~d.filoni) [16:43] devfil: I just opened that page fine [16:44] looks like I can't [16:45] this applies to all profiles, I thought it was a temporany error [16:45] * andol seem to be experiencing the same problem as devfil [16:45] looks like internet/DNS issue from your ISP [16:46] I get 503 [16:46] ...and at least in my case the "Timeout error" is a page served by launchpad [16:46] service unavailable (chromium network inspector) [16:47] I can open bugs, code, etc... [16:48] andol: I get that page too [16:49] devfil: Yepp, {bugs,code,etc}.lauchpad.net/~username works fine for me as well. [16:53] KNRO_, devfil: Where/are you logged into Launchpad? Because for me that Timeout error only seem to occur while I am logged in. Having logged out it works fine to access the user profiles. [16:54] I guess the timeout is triggered while trying to lookup some information only availible for logged in users. [16:54] * devfil checks incognito mode [16:55] andol: you're right [23:59] Hi, can it be that the janitor is down at the moment? [23:59] https://launchpad.net/~scribus/+archive/ppa/+packages uses 7.3 GiB (100.00%) of 2.0 GiB which is really not normal [23:59] I have the same issue
