=== len is now known as Guest31747 [04:10] I'm having a problem trying to setup a video source. I'm using SchedulesDirect, and can log into their website with my username & pw, but inside of mythbuntu when I set the same username & pw & then click on "Retrieve Lineups" nothing ever gets populated in the "Data Direct lineup" field. Does anyone have an idea on how to troubleshoot this? [04:12] I've tried changing my password and editing the lineup on the SD website, but still no luck. I've also wiped out my system & reloaded (a few times), but still no luck. [04:19] As an FYI, to whowever was listening, looks like I solved it. This time, I changed a bunch of channels on the lineup on the SD website, then saved. Trying to retrieve the lineup afterwards worked. === len is now known as Guest79608 [22:08] dmfrey, ping [22:09] what's up? [22:09] dmfrey, IIRC, the android app gets the 14 days of data on first update, then after that, only gets changed guide data? [22:09] yes [22:10] How are you getting 'just changed data'? [22:10] actaully, right now, it only gets what is missing to make up to 14 days [22:10] and deletes anything older than today [22:10] we are not [22:10] ah ok [22:10] yea I didn't see a way to do that :( [22:10] but I have a working service that will load the data to the db [22:10] and read the etags on that data [22:10] wo we will always know when something changes [22:11] hmm [22:11] but struggling right now on how to actually display that guide as a grid like the tv guide [22:11] I should probably do something like that [22:11] the reason i am using the json files right now is they are already formatted to the right format for viewing [22:11] but it is slow to read in those files [22:12] it is my hope that we will be able to use the cursor to the db to load as little as possible to make it quick [22:13] you're querying the DB directly? [22:13] or just the services API? [22:13] i am thinking loading a days worth of data for 5 or 10 channels versus 500 channels [22:13] not right now [22:13] it uses the services api to get the 1 hour increment json files [22:13] stores them and use them for viewing [22:14] then you keep roughly 1000 JSON files? [22:14] no 288 [22:14] 24 hours for 14 days [22:14] yea that makes more sense [22:15] IDK why I was multiplying 24 by 48 [22:15] :) [22:15] i gotta go run and grab dinner real quick, be back in a bit [22:15] ok
