[02:49] H A L L O - can anyone say something [02:49] kallah halla [02:49] ok - first answer on my system [02:49] thanks !!! [02:50] studio-user630, most of us are doing "family time". [02:51] We just look at the screen the odd time. (or not) [02:53] yes [02:53] espectially me [03:04] JUST LEAVE! [03:09] well i am new / back again user630 - ubuntu rebooted automatic ... [03:12] I didn't know that happened after install... [03:16] well on my mashine !?! - now i'll try to get some updates ... === Lump|AFK is now known as LumpOfCoal [03:22] heyas [03:22] hey lumpy [03:23] hay lumpy [03:23] how goes it tonight? [03:23] trying to install ubuntu un USB-Stick ... [03:24] i have never installed it on at thumbdrive but have installed it from a thumb drive [03:24] im just doin what i gotta do [03:25] saying what i gotta say [03:25] did i say anything stupid today? [03:26] i dunno FloatingGoat i am usually too busy correrting all the stupid things i say to notice any one else [03:26] i like my name "user 630" well install on USB-stick is no official option - but i try and test - at this moment it runs !?! ... [03:26] hahaha [03:31] ey - i got a "Python.3-2-x" [03:31] and firefox wants to restart ... [03:33] hmmm i wonder how that happened.. heh [03:33] * LumpOfCoal is beat atm [03:33] i feel like i should open a bakery [03:34] Worked in one as a teen... the boss and I both decided it was not for me [03:34] I do pretty good at it actually [03:35] I do about 6 or 7 loaves a week... [03:35] wild yeast. [03:35] i tried a traditional french bread today though... lets just say, i have a rather large pretzel [03:35] i don't do that many a week [03:35] 3-4 [03:36] I find the more full the oven is the better my bread does. [03:36] esp for electric ones [03:36] i like gas ovens for baking personally [03:37] and len-dt did you catch what i mentioned earlier [03:37] Ya, I block the vent, put a layer of fire brick splits to cook on... [03:37] Everything works now? [03:37] every version, every os, connects just fine [03:37] Ya, there may have been a lib update that happened... [03:37] but i made absolutely no changes to the settings on the versions and os i failed with on friday [03:38] i would have had to update for that to happen no? [03:38] Did you reload the OS? [03:38] nope [03:38] gremlins [03:38] i did load a few earlier versions on new partitions [03:38] but did nothing to the ones i had installed [03:39] the only one that has issues is debian [03:39] but i never played with that enought to even check dependancies [03:39] and i have no motivation to do so [03:39] debian should ...... should deal correctly with depends [03:40] ... and firefox is back again ... [03:40] well it is rather a mute point, i care not to worry about debian for streaming [03:40] i want to use tango and/or studio for that particular task [03:42] right now, the latest, i think 12.04 studio is set as my daily desktop [03:43] ... and i reboot again ... [03:43] i put the older distros on a hotswap as a fallback [03:43] and the fire bricks [03:43] that is a great idea [03:44] I find ten just covers one of the racks. [03:44] I heat the oven as hot as it will go.... then basically turn it off to bake. [03:45] It hits about 500F [03:45] that sounds like it would be great for a traditional french [03:45] among others [03:45] I do basic wild yeast whole wheat. Flour, water, salt... [03:46] i have a hard enough time finding yeast here period [03:47] email me any recipes and sources you want [03:47] water/flour 50/50 let it sit for 24hours [03:48] and that forms a yeast? [03:48] cut in half and add enough to bring back to the same weight. [03:48] after about a week it is ready to use. [03:48] so you culture it and keep it in the fridge amish style [03:48] Ya, it is yeast and bacteria. [03:48] Sour stuff. [03:49] ah, a sour dough culture [03:49] I use a form of "no knead" [03:50] my basic loaf is a half high gluton, half whole wheat with a bit of rye [03:50] three loaf recipe [03:50] When I say flour it is normally a mix. [03:50] i do it about once a week [03:51] whole and rye, but sometimes oat/flax/barley in small amounts. [03:52] i think you and i are going to have many conversations in the future len [03:52] darn glad i met ya [03:52] ever visit permies.com? [03:52] no [03:52] but i will in a second [03:53] In one of the threads I did a complete thing on my bread with pics [03:54] meshelly and i are flower pot gardeners as well [03:54] great site [03:54] is it yours? [03:54] No [03:55] got asked to moderate once... but I was too busy here [03:56] hmm [03:56] they do podcasts as well eh [03:56] remember my whole seperate test stream thought and such [03:57] might be a good community to see if they would want to get involved [03:57] i can have up to ten "channels" with centanovacast [04:03] len-dt: my other youtube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZROHxG3mG7A [04:13] FloatingGoat, so what do you think of it? [04:17] The mic is farther away... the voice and guitar are about even, maybe move the mic just a bit closer (inch or two at a time) to have the voice just noticeably higher. Its hard to get just right. [04:17] Listen with your eyes closed. [04:19] FloatingGoat, you and I both have soft voices. [04:20] there are some good examples of people who have done well even so. [04:20] Soft voice=bad usually? [04:21] only if you watch the idol shows... [04:21] I totally agree with that [04:21] lol [04:22] Remember a song called "The year of the cat"? [04:23] Seems he has a soft voice. [04:23] female? listen ti Dido [04:23] The closest ive compared my voice to someone successful is the lead male vocals in the XX [04:23] I would go as far as saying mine is even more vibrant than his [04:25] If you want to do art, you are not likely to work for a big recording company anyway. [04:32] Watching xx the vocalist is mostly vocalizing more than singing. But ya you do project a bit more than that. [04:32] First time I have seen an SG being used for a while. [04:35] chrystalized? [04:35] later all and all have a great holiday [04:35] Ya. === LumpOfCoal is now known as Lump|AFK [04:35] Thats the one. [05:30] ya, i might cover it [20:34] Unable to locate package nautilus-gksu [20:35] otherwise not able to open files with admin privileges on a right click basis [20:36] I need some help [20:42] I got it... === daniel is now known as Guest33530 === Guest33530 is now known as jambeedrum
