[08:01] good ty and you? [08:01] good just busy but it's a good thing [08:01] ya [08:01] so I'm back on the projector thing [08:02] need a few Q answered [08:02] when I connect the projector to my notebook [08:02] state the case and hang till a guy who knows gets to ya [08:04] under system settings > displays [08:04] it shows that there are two monitors. I have display on my notebook screen and there is display at the projector [08:05] however the display on the projector shows my workspace but does not show any running programs i.e. if my browser is open on one workspace this does not show via the projector [08:06] I have to go to system settings > display and enable "mirror displays" to have the projector show what is open on my workspace [08:07] hope this makes sense to you folks [08:08] I would like to display what ever is open on my workspace without enabling the mirror display settings [08:09] can this be done? [09:55] indeed Kilos [09:55] magespawn: I presume as an extended desktop, from what staticrat was saying [09:56] then he could drag the open program there to have it display presumable? [10:00] magespawn: yes, but that's not what he's asking [10:03] * magespawn goes to re-read logs [10:03] ohh okay i see [10:04] * magespawn puts on the dunce hat and goes to sit in the corner [10:15] dunce hat? [10:15] big pointy hat with a big letter d on it [10:16] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunce_cap [10:19] lol [10:55] Kilos: pong [10:55] hi oom :P [10:55] skies, ek is so bietjie skaars [11:37] nuvolari, pong [11:37] dag seun hoe gaan dit [11:37] hoekom so skaars? [15:52] how come launchpad shows i havent signed the code of conduct and when i go through the motions it shows [15:53] It appears you have already done this. The key ********* is registered on your account. You can skip to the next step if you are not intending on signing with a different key. [15:53] i changed the key to them *** [15:54] grrr [15:54] maybe i didnt know how to sign the thing now im stuck [15:58] I've never tried [15:59] hehe [15:59] massive job [15:59] are you registering for the loco? [16:10] i even tried giving the path [16:10] i have the key on desktop in a file called gpgkey [16:27] and dont say man gpg inetpro [16:27] better i forget about it [16:27] think i did it on maverick [16:28] and this unity dont see what i did back then [16:48] Kilos: you need to import your gpg key first [16:48] so that gpg knows about it [16:48] and hopefully you have your private key, not just your public key [16:48] oh my [16:49] now theres 2 [16:49] eeeek [16:50] yes, you create a private key, and then you export a public key from your private key [16:50] then you upload the public key for other people to use to check that anything signed with your private key is really from you [16:51] is there a link somewhere on how to do all this in english step by step for noobs [16:52] isnt it save to not bother with a key [16:52] ive google quite a few but they arent for doff peeps even though one says he is a noob [16:53] but tried what they told him to do and didnt do zilch here either [16:54] not a good day to do all the thinking [16:55] nut sploding [16:55] o.o [16:55] goeie naand oom Kilos '< [16:55] naand Cantide [16:55] '-'// [16:55] hehe you also starting [16:59] i go eat [17:00] enjoy~ [17:16] that was lekker. must be a good cook stays here [18:10] hi :) [18:11] Evening all [18:11] good evening magedroid :) [18:11] Hey smile [18:13] magedroid: how do you feel? :) [18:16] hmm...kinda storming here [18:17] Little tired, but otherwise good.
