stgraberhighvoltage: any thought on making the domain joining tool be a separate tool that you run post-install? that'd solve my keyboard problem and simplify the install process16:26
stgraberhighvoltage: basically I want to remove any input fields we have in there at the moment and just rely on radios and dropdowns16:27
highvoltagestgraber: no objections. it's nice to have it in the installer too imho but it's certainly something that could/should evolve over time16:34
highvoltagestgraber: at least it would make the installation process simpler, which is always good, I suppose16:35
stgraberhighvoltage: yeah. In theory we could have it show up after ubi-usersetup too but for now I think it's best to just have one well written robust tool that can be used post-install16:36
stgraberhighvoltage: I still have to think about the server case though as we'll clearly need some user input for that one16:38
skaethighvoltage, stgraber - will you be following the same pattern for Alpha 2 as Alpha 1 in terms of release notes?17:08
stgraberskaet: I think so, though I'm not the one who'll take care of a217:11
highvoltageskaet: Alpha 1 was so long ago that I can't even remember what it looked like17:11
highvoltageskaet: but my guess would be "probably"?17:11
skaetalso a bit concerned about the testing load next week for testing 12.04.2 in parallel with 13.04 alpha 2.    Has anything been set up to line folks up to help?17:11
highvoltageah I haven't thought of doing that. so perhaps a call for testing might be a good idea?17:12
skaethighvoltage,   I cloned what stgraber did for alpha 1,   which is basically a link to the edubuntu site.  https://wiki.ubuntu.com/RaringRingtail/Alpha2/Edubuntu17:12
skaetalternately we can structure it similar to Kubuntu's page (more like the traditional).   Your preference.17:13
highvoltageskaet: sounds good17:14
skaethttp://www.edubuntu.org/news/13.04-alpha1  <- looked good to me.17:15
stgraberI think pointing to the website is easiest for those early milestones17:15
highvoltageskaet: glad to see you back, btw :)17:15
highvoltage(I'll be back in an hour or so, have to shower, eat, etc)17:16
skaethighvoltage, :)  thanks.17:16
bond_hi, can anybody tell me about 11th  field in /proc/diskstats? The documentation says that it is weighted # of milliseconds spent doing I/Os. Is it like # of milliseconds spent in a second?17:44
