[21:24] <jbicha> darkxst: GNOME historically just dumps the current master into a tarball on release day during the unstable dev cycle with insufficient testing to make sure things actually work

[21:25] <jbicha> that said, 3.7.5 has been mostly smooth here (but I'm not using js188 either)
[21:25] <darkxst> jbicha, I know, even more like there is a last minute rush to land everything before release
[21:26] <darkxst> maybe overview issue is related to multiple monitors
[21:26] <jbicha> what annoys me more is that there aren't enough .1 releases to fix things that are broken, we have to do too much cherrypicking of patches
