[02:29] How do you install mythbuntu onto a usb flash stick? === croppa is now known as croppa_ === croppa_ is now known as croppa [19:15] Hi, I've done a clean install of Mythbuntu 12.04 as a combined front/backend. [19:15] When I run an xmltv configure, tv_grab_uk_rt during mythtv setup, the file is created in the users .mythtv directory. [19:16] So when mythfilldatabase runs at night it fails because there is no copy in /home/mythtv/.mythtv folder. [19:16] Is this something that should be handled by the Mythbuntu12.04 install or should the user be aware of this and sort it with a soft link? [19:16] Steve-Goodey, I'm unfamiliar with xmltv, is there any reason the regular user would need access to that file [19:24] Only if xmltv configure is rerun to do changes. Is it possible for mythtv setup to work on the file in /home/mythtv/.mythtv while running as another user, e.g. /home/steve? [19:25] Steve-Goodey, well, my question was more, perhaps we should run mythtv-setup as the mythtv user [19:25] superm1, ^ [19:25] I *feel* like we've had this conversation previously, but I don't recall the outcome [20:08] i'm surprised this is the first time this has come up [20:09] superm1, I think we've discussed it before [20:10] superm1, we could test it now that I know there is an XMLTV thing for SD [20:10] true
