Sarvattllstarks: lts point release updates would have those updates most likely like they do currently, and in rolling we would just hold up pushing new X until things are ready, like we're currently staging xserver 1.14 for the IHV's to build against here https://launchpad.net/~canonical-x/+archive/x-staging18:39
Sarvattopt-in for people on LTS unless they install with a point release iso then it's there by default, someone on 12.04 can install xserver-xorg-lts-quantal and get the 12.10 X stack and kernel18:40
